I believe that art mirrors life and the experiences that we as individuals encounter. My goal as an artist is to visually represent the intersection of such occurrences by both visual specificity as well as esthetic experimentation.
By nature I am a collector. Findings found on my walks, hidden amongst clutter in over stuffed antique shops, gifts from those who know my tendencies, and various other means. My work uses such findings to create a stage or narrative to house these tangible links to time, these items old and new which serve as conversational cues.
I consider myself a storyteller. Each piece contains duality between serving as my personal diary of experience and happenstance vs. the story that has been elevated by their own formation.
